Wineries
Weinof Winery of Muenster is at the east end of the Trail located on
Highway 82 just west of the Hwy 82 and FM 373 intersection in the
German village of Muenster. Weinhof specializes in quality Texas Fruit
wines and small batches of specialty grape wines. Our tasting room
provides a welcome atmosphere that entices folks to relax and stay a
while. Enjoy a glass of wine while browsing our Gift Shop or relaxing in
our Weingarten in the shade of the Alpine Pine trees.
Arché is an estate winery located 6 miles from the Saint Jo
intersection of Hwy 82 and FM 677. As you head north on FM 677 you
will experience breathtaking vistas of the Red River Valley. At six miles
from The Square in Saint Jo, turn right on Wagner Rd, then turn
into the first driveway on the right with the stone pillars and gate. You'll
find the winery & tasting room situated in the middle of the vineyard.
Arché specializes in dry reds, whites and rosé wines.
Weinhof Winery of Forestburg is located south of Saint Jo off
Highway 82 down FM 677, approximately 15 miles to its end in
Forestburg. Turn left and you will find Weinhof Winery, the original
production facility of Weinhof. Enter the old-world German-style
“Weinstube” tasting room and enjoy a taste or glass of Weinhof Wine.
Weinhof Winery produces small, hand-crafted batches of grape and
quality Texas Fruit wines.
Wichita Falls Vineyards & Winery is located on the west end
of the trail 4.8 miles south of Hwy 287 on Peterson Rd. South
from Wichita Falls nestled between Wichita Falls & Iowa Park
on the Wichita River. The Wichita Falls Winery produces a
broad spectrum of many award winning wines which capture
the unique spirit & history of the region. Visitors are invited to
enjoy tastings, tours, or a glass of wine while visiting our gift
shop/tasting room.
Blue Ostrich Winery & Vineyard is located 9 miles north of Saint Jo
Texas on FM 2382. Our winery, tasting room and three acre vineyard
are set against the sloping hillsides of a working cattle ranch in the
beautiful Red River Valley. In addition to Texas Longhorns, the
Fredrick family once raised Ostrich on the same site where our
winery now sits, so while your here, keep an eye open for a couple of
the big birds that stuck around! We invite you to enjoy our wines and
our hospitality at Blue Ostrich.
